I'm going to level with you; the 1x1 units costs as much in filament to print just this bin as it costs for the whole setup of bin and housing from Harbor Freight when they are on sale ($2), but figure this was worth having so you can replace broken parts when the other part is fine, Harbor Freight isn't in your area or worth going to, etc. Additionally, you can print these in different colors for sorting/aesthetic reasons.

The real meat and potatoes of this project is the 1x2, 2x1 and 2x2 units, though. I love the original bins, but I believe having larger sizes heavily increases their utility.

When printed on the back surface, the "chassis," as I've been calling the housing, prints without supports for me, though a little support on the tip of the radial bin track wouldn't hurt. The bins print standing straight up, and will require supports on the leading edge of the handle and on the horizontal pins sticking out of the bottom.

I found the fitment to be quite tight with my printer (Bambu P1S), so you may want a little lubrication on the dovetails, and possibly some light sanding, especially if you intend on separating in the future. I tried adjusting for a perfect fit, but it was either too tight or too loose, so too tight was the only way to make it functional.
