3 panel diffuser for 8x8 64LED , used for WLED , also included is a quick bracket that attaches to the diffuser and clips onto 25x25mm aluminium tube with a 45degree angle which is what i needed for this first version , I will add some other mounts for this as I plan on building a few more , leave a comment on what kind of mounts your interested in and i may add some other versions , like a basic desk mount, wall mount etc.
The project has 192 LEDS (3x64) which needs a good supply of 5amps at 5 volts while its calculated that it needs about 12 amps 60mA per LED for full brightness .
I printed in White PETG no supports needed the diffusion layer is two layers at .4 which seems to give it a nice soft diffusion while still being very bright , I may experiment with printing with other colours for the aesthetics when its off.
attachment of the panels is with the 6 holes some small screws , i have another version ive not exported to stl yet that can use a soldering iron to just melt posts to hold the panels in place but they are snug so dont tend to be falling out anyway.
