Hello everyone! These are some 3D printable barrel options for the Nerf Ratchet Blaster that allow the blaster to use a few different ammo types. This blaster was quite broken when I acquired it, but that made it the perfect modification candidate! Once the blaster was back to functioning internally, I set my sights on making some new barrels for it, since my vintage mega dart collection is quite small.  I started with modern mega darts, since it seemed appropriate, then moved onto a version that contained inline clips. The brilliant Joltking627 reached out and suggested that I do a version with shorter inline clips, as well as a version for Ultra darts, both of which sounded like fun options to have.

I recommend printing all of the barrels barrel down on your print bed, as shown in the image below, for best results.

This requires more support material, but it leaves a smoother surface where the plunger tube interfaces with the barrels. The Mega and Ultra dart barrels require support both in and around the barrels, but the Inline Clip barrels only require support around the barrels. No support should be used inside of the Inline Clip barrels, as it is quite difficult to remove.

A quick note for working with this blaster: it has some of the weakest plastic I have yet encountered when working on vintage blasters. Simply tightening the screws that hold the blaster together slightly too much was enough to break a few of the internal screw posts. I've also heard from others who have worked on this blaster that unscrewing the blaster for the first time led to breaking off screw posts due to them being locked in place for so long. So, while this blaster has tons of fun potential, please use caution when working with it. It can break in many different ways, some of which are much harder to fix than others.

I had a ton of fun working on this blaster and making these barrels, and I'm quite pleased with the results! Thanks so much to Joltking627 for bringing me back to this project, testing the barrels for me, and suggesting improvements. I hope everyone enjoys these parts as much as we have!
