I really liked @ART_TOO's spool gauge form factor but I needed something with a bit more granularity; I'm still new with 3D printing and have no idea how much filament a print needs and how much is still on the spool.
The following table indicates the measurements of the spools to generate the gauges. Refer to the "Measurement Guide" STL file to see where these are measured. I will add more as I explore other filament brands.
Use the gauge(s) closest in measurement to the spool(s) you use.
Filament Brand | Interior Width | Interior Diameter | Diameter of Spool | Centre to "Full" Line |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Eryone | 55.56mm | 87.31mm | 196mm | 83mm |
Matter3D | 61.27mm | 87.66mm | 200mm | 81.50mm |
Prusament | 58mm | 100mm | 199mm | 85mm |
I've added the filament brand to the gauges now that I've got a few models just so it makes differentiating them easier, but will also upload unbranded ones in case anyone prefers the "cleaner" look.
