This replacement handle for the Snapmaker U1 door improves ergonomics by allowing a comfortable grip from both the left and right sides. The design is slightly elevated to provide finger clearance, preventing glass smudges when grabbing from the left.

The attached 3mf file contains a clear version and a version with text. You can edit the text by selecting Objects -> Text -> Emboss, or change the color by right-clicking the Text object and selecting Change Filament.

It can be printed without any support and with lower infill (the 3mf has 7% gyroid infill). I have changed Bottom surface pattern to Hilbert Curve for the version with text, but this is up to you - clear version could look good with Concentric pattern.

Printing requires no supports and works well with low infill (the 3mf is set to 7% gyroid).

To install, use the 2mm hex key included with the printer to unscrew the original handle. The screws are accessible by lifting the top and bottom of the rubber cover on the inside of the door.

The CAD model is available here on OnShape.
