The texture was created using https://bumpmesh.com by CNC Kitchen. You can see the settings I used in the pictures. It really adds a nice feel to the shifter rather than just smooth walls.
I have provided the step file if you have to customize it. Sorry, Fusion file didn't upload.
With the spacer you should be able to add a Makerchip (K2 Kevin) . I just recommend you use double-sided tape or sticky tack so you can swap it out.
Placed the M12 nut and screwed it down, then glue the cap on in the orientation you want. There's no double nut, you might be able to fit a lock nut or blue loctite (probably not recommended) with customization, I like to be able to quickly unscrew it.
My final version was printed with Prusament Galaxy Black ASA on a Core One+ at 0.10mm layers. I would recommend PETG or higher temp materials (cars interiors can reach over 60C!)
I don't have a boot around my shifter right now, Usually the collar will fit just under the shifter shaft. I don't have the stock shift boot so I can't test it. Subaru and Toyota's should be similar shaft height if you remove the plastic retainer ring.
