PolyDryer / PolyBox Mount
A sturdy side mount designed to hold a PolyDryer / PolyBox Dry Dock.
I designed this mount for my mobile 3D-printing setup with a Bambu Lab P2S. The goal was to keep the PolyDryer securely attached without taking up valuable shelf space, while still keeping it easily accessible.
Features
Secure mechanical attachment using separate snap-on clamps
Symmetrical triangular openwork structure for good rigidity with reduced material use
Keeps the PolyDryer conveniently mounted beside the printer
Easy to remove or reposition if needed
The large triangular openings are intentional — they reduce print time and filament use while keeping the mount stiff enough to support the dryer.
Printing
The included 3MF contains my print setup:
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Walls: 5
Top / Bottom layers: 5
Infill: 25% Gyroid
Wall generator: Arachne
Supports: Tree (Auto), build plate only
Brim: None
I printed mine in PETG, which I recommend for its combination of stiffness, toughness and slight flexibility.
Installation
Just place the PolyDryer / PolyBox on the mount if needed - attach some clips to secure it more firmly.
Designed, printed and tested as part of my compact mobile Bambu P2S / PolyDryer workstation.
Enjoy! 🙂
