TTS tool holder vertical surface mounting bracket.  Could be mounted on the wall or any other vertical surface.  The TTS tool holder sits above the bracket so the mating gauge surface on the tool holder is not rubbing up against any surface to avoid picking up any debris.

Bracket I originally printed these with an 0.6mm nozzle with 0.5mm layer height as I liked the thick layer lines.  These were printed solid.  The slicing was controlled to get the result I wanted.  This style can be seen in the photos of the tool holders mounted to the wall.  Most of these have been in use for 18 months, some a little longer.  I redesigned this uploaded model to use a 0.4mm nozzle and more common print settings.  I have tested them using 2 walls and 25% rectal linear infill with 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height and they seem fine.  If you change to 4 walls they will print solid.

Two walls without brim uses 27.71g and takes 1 hour 39 minutes, Four walls without brim uses 36.98g and takes 1 hour 59 minutes using the same generic, low cost ABS.  Adding the brim adds about 1g and 7 minutes to the print

Insert This should be a light push fit.  You may want to add a couple of drops of super glue but probably not necessary.  It is designed to sit inside the gauge face of the TTS tool to avoid transferring any debris onto the TTS mounting surface.

Printing ABS is my default material for this type of thing.  I printed the originals on my P1S and the latest model was printed on my Q2 with the heated chamber set to 55C.  I would not use PLA for this part.

I added in some modeled inner Brim but I don't think that is really necessary - I've only had a bed adhesion issue when I haven't prepared the bed properly.  I would suggest trying the "no_brim" option first.

Found this useful? These TTS wall holders were developed through quite a few test iterations in different materials. If you want to contribute to the next round of testing for the next project, it’s always appreciated: buymeacoffee.com/ChrisNZL.
