The holder provides a place for the toolhead when changing the hotend. This remix is for the original U1 top cover.

The original model for a U1 without a top cover is from Gerdi und you can find it here. Thank you Gerdi for sharing this great design!

UPDATE:
The new v2 model snaps in place. This way the holder is more stable but still easy to remove.

The model helps you changing the hotends of your Snapmaker U1. You don't have to remove the topcover, cables or bowden tubes and you have easy access to the srews, the cables and the plugs. Open the access panel of the top cover, place the toolholder on the frame and follow the instructions on how to change the hotend. At step 2 after removing the toolhead from the swapper just take the toolhead, turn it around and place it on the holder as seen in my pictures (instead of placing it on the buildplate). Now follow the rest of the instructions and you are good to go. Don't forget to configure the new nozzle if you changed to an other diameter. You can find instructions in this video.

Printing:
This model needs support. I tested it in PLA and PETG and both work fine.
