An entry for the Prusa spoolcap competition. A spoolcap with a numbered selector from 1 to 8 and optional material tag.

I printed everything with PLA but any material should be fine. 3 perimeters and 15% cubic infill, but any settings should do. I printed it on 0.2mm layer height and on structural profile, but I don't see any reason to not be able to print with any other profile.

If the spring ring is too stiff and it's hard to rotate the selector, try to print it out of PETG and to add some lubrication like white lithium or grease.

Assembly instructions:

1. Notice the 4 indents on one side of the spring ring, push them into the relevant slots of the cap.
2. Align the indents at the back of the selector wheel with the spring tabs and push it in.
3. Screw the cap until firm and the window aligns with a number.

There is a blank cap for you to put any text on it or stick a sticker on.
Also, I'm attaching the cad files is anyone wants to remix it.

Happy printing!
