Bill of Materials
You will need:
M2 × 6 mm Screws, DIN 912 / ISO 4762
Split Ring Keychains
A soldering iron with an M2 heat-set insert tip
A screwdriver
Flat-nose pliers for assembling the split ring
The screws and heat-set inserts are optional. As an alternative, you can use the included printed screw heads and glue the holds directly to the keychain.

Instructions
Each keychain or charm consists of:
1 split ring keychain
1 keychain volume
8 holds
8 screw (or printed screw heads)
8 heat inserts

First, use a soldering iron to install the 8 heat-set inserts into the keychain volume.
There are 5 insert positions on the front (2 + 3), and 3 on the back.

Attach the split ring keychain to the body using flat-nose pliers.

Choose your holds and attach them with the M2 screws to create your own mini climbing route.

The holds can be removed and repositioned whenever you want to change the route or color combination.

Printed screw heads
Printed screw heads are included as an alternative to real M2 screws and heat-set inserts.

The printed screw heads need to be glued to the holds, and the holds then glued directly to the keychain body.
Note that this option does not allow the holds to be repositioned afterwards.
Printing recommendations
If you experience adhesion issues, make sure your build plate is thoroughly cleaned.
For the holds
Use a 0.2 mm or 0.4 mm nozzle with the Arachne wall generator enabled.
Use 0.08mm or 0.12mm layer height for for best results, as the model includes many rounded surfaces and gentle slopes.
Enable the Fuzzy Skin setting in your slicer for a more realistic climbing hold texture.
Recommended settings:
Fuzzy Skin Mode: Contour
Fuzzy Skin Point Distance: 0.6mm
Fuzzy Skin Thickness: 0.2mm
For the keychain volume
Print on a textured build plate (textured PEI or similar), so the back of the volume is also textured.
Use 4 wall loops to provide enough material around the heat-set insert holes for a strong and secure fit.
Use only 1 wall loop on the first layer for a cleaner back surface.
Paint the Fuzzy Skin on the 4 front faces (left, right, top and bottom), avoiding the head insert holes.
Recommended settings:Fuzzy Skin Mode: Contour
Fuzzy Skin Point Distance: 0.8mm
Fuzzy Skin Thickness: 0.3mm
For the printed screw heads
Use 0.20mm layer height for the printed Screw Heads.
Enabling the Arachne wall generator helps with the screw hole.
