I designed this top for my Snapmaker U1. It uses -.167 inch twinwall polycarbonate for most of the walls to retain heat

I made this frame in Fusion so it could hold 0.16-inch twinwall polycarbonate greenhouse panels for better insulation.
The parts connect with 8-32 x 3/4-inch screws and nuts.
I used a clear 1/8-inch polycarbonate front but you can also use the twinwall for that.
I used a standard 1/8-inch polycarbonate 12-inch by 12-inch <$10 panel (online) for the front panel for better visibility.
The top front panel lifts off so you can leave the lid on while printing low heat filaments.
The connection points are designed to resist twisting when the screws are tightened against the softer polycarbonate.
I ordered several greenhouse panels but you could probably substitute thin corplast sign material for the twinwall.
This top has a slot for a Panda Breath cord but you may not need to use a separate chamber heater.
The chamber temp on my first ABS print with 100C degree build plate reached 56C degrees.
