Raspberry Pi 4 Case
This case is designed to fit a Raspberry Pi 4 and a standard Ender 3 3D-Printer. Remixed from this.
Changes made in comparison the original model:
- Added a mount for a 30x30mm fan to cool the Raspberry Pi
- Added slots on the sides and on the bottom for better air circulation
- Lowered the mounting points for the Rasberry Pi to make room for the fan
- adjusted the positions and size of the cutout for the Pi's interfaces to improve Pi's installation
- changed several radii for better printing
Used print settings (case):
- PLA
- 0.4mm nozzle
- 0.2mm layer height
- No supports needed, if printed as shown below

Used print settings (fan duct):
- PLA
- 0.4mm nozzle
- 0.2mm layer height
- Used Cura's tree support only touching buildplate (may print without support, too)

Raspberry Pi installation
The Pi slides right into the designed cutouts. You may have to flex the model a bit. The Pi is held in place pretty well by the cutouts alone, but can be screwed down using 4 M2,5 bolts (screwed directly into the plastic).
Optional Fan Duct & cooling performance
I designed an optional fan duct to direct the fans airflow to the CPU and other components of the Raspberry pi.
I used a 30x30x7mm axial fan in addition to my fan duct and a pretty big CPU heatsink. While printing using OctoPrint, temperarures settle arround 40°C (at 25° ambient temperature), however i am using the 3.3V pin instead of the fans rated 5V for lower noise levels. Using the Pi's 5V pin, temperarures are 2-3 K lower.
