These Holders are for standart RGB-LED-Strip Remotes (94x52x8 mm) and another one that I use in the kitchen (90x40x8 mm).
The approach was pretty straight forward: Minimum filament use
For better appearence I chose to design them to be printed in vasemode. Therefore the files will be printed in a standing orientation with 0.2mm Layerheight and a 0.4mm Nozzle.
For tinkerers:
EDIT: I just uploaded an improved design of this idea. Little bit easier to print, even less filament used, no vasemode necessary, easier to modify to your needs. Please check it out >here<
The “RGB Remote Holder Honeycomb-Back”-Model was used to create the uploaded gcode (RGB-Honeycomb-Back-GCODE). I sliced the model with 0 top and bottom layers but with 20% honeycomb infill. Then I sliced it again in vase mode. Afterwards I combined the gcode of the first 4 layers from the honeycomb infill with the gcode of the next layers from the vasemode file. Looks great, works great. For the gcode I also added a modifier so you have a 4x2 cm patch at the back to attach some doublesided tape.
