dadul96 made a nice holder for a dial indicator. Unfortunately none of my dial gauges would fit so I re-created it in Fusion 360.
Printed in PLA on a Ender 3 Pro. Sliced with Cura with 0.6mm nozzle, Standard Quality 0.2mm, Tree supports touching buildplate with a 80.0 Support Overhang Angle.
Re-created it in Fusion 360
Increased the mounting hole to 9.4mm to fit a 9.5mm shaft
Increased back clearance to 5mm
Works at least with a Ender 3 Pro with a CRTouch.
I have included the F360 file incase anyone wants to modify it. (I am a F360 newb, so it might not be the best example to learn on.)
dadul96's comments:
I really liked the idea of kyoday's original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3029416), but I wasn't sure if it could fit my printer with the "Ender 3 Vent Ring" (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2912394) attached. So I redraw it in Creo Parametric 1.0 and changed some minor things.
It should fit all three Vent Rings, but I only tested it with the ''short Version". The original author claims, that it should fit the CR-10 / CR-10 mini. (Sadly I don't have these printers to verify this statement...)
Changes from the original:
- bottom right corner
- the hole for the dial gauge got tapered
- the "bridge" between top and bottom now needs less material
UPDATE (15.11.2019):
- improved stiffness
- improved for printing filaments with lower layer adhesion
- looks cooler ;)
