Skyrim quest marker. You can stick it with a double-sided tape to a door, a wall, your forehead, you name it.
There are two sets of models provided. Single part model and separate models for each detail of the icon as well as the base with recesses. STEP files are also available.
Single part model that can be printed with a color change. PrusaSlicer's automatic color change detection works great for this.
Alternitavely, icon's details can be printed with a different color filament than the base, and glued into the base model with CA glue.
Print settings
- Infill: Single part can be printed with 15% infill with a pattern of your choice. If you feel adventurous and you printer can do amazing bridges the base or single part models can be printed with no infill. At 0% infill an extra top layer or two may be needed for a better look.
- Supports: You are kidding right?
- Layers and perimeters: 3 perimeters, 3 bottom, 4 top. Ironing for top surfaces works well. Aligned seam position can be used to hide layer changed in the corners
- Material: Any really. PA or PC may be an overkill though :S
- Other: If the recess sizes in the separated model is too narrow XY Size Compensation setting in PrusaSlicer can be used to adjust tolerances. This can be very useful when the printer calibration is a bit off or the model is scaled down. The setting is in Advanced section of PrusaSlicer with Expert mode on.
