------------------------------------------------------
What is it for?
Anything really… It's essentially a box with a sliding lid and a locking clasp that securely snaps the lid in place.
I made this vesion of the box to fit a standard MTG EDH-deck, but ofc it doesn't stop you for using it for anything else.
I made another version of this box for my camera to have a robust and protective case when I'm travelling for example. The inside and outside measurements can be found below.
------------------------------------------------------
How does it work?
- The lid is “print in place” together with the clasp. This means that you only need to print two models.
- You slide the lid from the slide and snap the lid in place with the clasp.
------------------------------------------------------
How to print:
- Do not use supports! Both models are supposed to be printed without any supports.
- Make sure your printer can achieve 0.3mm tolerances before printing. If not, your hinge will fuse.
- Use some force when cracking the clasp loose. It will likely be stuck, but should be able to break loose without destroying the clasp.
