My patio door is too high for a regular doorstop, and the wind kept blowing it shut. Designed a really simple doorstop that slides over the middle hinge to keep that from happening.
Center circle diameter is 0.179in (will fit over a standard US door hinge pin)
Arms are slightly offset to snug up against the fully open door, so no movement is allowed.
Arm angle is currently 175 degrees.
Feel free to remix and change the angle, sizing, etc., as needed!
Would love to see if this is useful for anyone else, or just a one-off functional print!
Version 2 is updated to avoid the arms compressing in the middle. Had a strong gust of wind that ended up blowing the door hard enough to break the Version 1 model. I don't have an enclosure, so PLA is my filament of choice, but ABS (or PETG) should be stronger for this.
