I got my inspiration from a tech deck; I wanted to 3d print one, but there weren't very many good models. I thought of designing one myself and got a good ways done, but somewhere along the line got sidetracked and ended up designing a One Wheel! I do still want to attempt to design a tech deck or tech deck-like finger board in the future though, or maybe just the board? Idk, hope yall like it, cause I sure as hell do! Happy printing!
The cut models require super glue to be put together!!!
The cut board files are designed to be printed on either the inside of the board (where the two halves meet) or on the outside, either side you chose slightly alters the final product:
*Printing on the inside allows the two halves to go together with very light seem. You get the best quality using this method, though axle may have bed adhesion issues, so brim is advised. Some support are required for axle.
*Printing on the outside allows a clean and ready to go finish. Unless ironing is turned on, halves may not fit together very well and seem will be very visible.
*Printing full designs require you to print both the full board and the full wheel at the same time if you are trying to print a full board with no assembly. Rearrange the board so that it is on its side, then move the wheel to the center of the board. Supports are required, final product may be rough and will need some breaking in. Although the hassle, printing it this way ensures the strongest and most durable one wheel compared to the cut versions. (cut models are often strong, though may be slightly weaker than usual depending on the glue you use)
