It may work on the Master, and other Begode wheels. Replaces the stock flimsy metal sheet that Begode uses for a fender.
I'm still new to 3D printing and this is my first design. Please share any tips if you're knowledgeable and see room for improvement. It works well with my street tire, but I'm curious to know if it will work with a knobby tire.
I printed this on a Bambu Lab P1S (256mm x 256mm):
- 0.6mm nozzle (0.4mm will work too)
- Enable Support (support critical regions only - around the joint, use photo for reference).
- I will also mention that I put a large brim around the support (10mm) cuz my printer has knocked it over more than once printing the front fender.
- PLA+ (Other filaments might work better, but I was disappointed with ABS)
- 15-30% infill (cubic)
- 2-4 wall loops
Updates
- 2/4/2024 - Shortened front of fender (~30mm) to keep it from impacting the front handle of the EUC. Prevents fender from breaking when suspension gets close to bottoming out. Images showing the front of the fender are outdated with the old lengthier version.
