This is my design of fully functional angle brackets. I created them especially for the FFF process to be printed using PETG or ASA material. These prints require a well-calibrated printer and high-quality filament to be functional.
If these angle brackets are printed with the correct settings and materials and used in the correct way, they can withstand high forces.
How to Print the Angle Brackets
I created an example project LR2205-140-050-050 Print.3mf for Prusa Slicer, where all required settings are made. If you need to create your own setup, check out the following table:

Do not print with PLA: Prints with PLA will not be functional and dangerous! The material is too brittle and will deform over time, or may suddenly break.
Dimensions
The part number and the file name have the following format:
LR2205-<series>-<depth>-<height>.3mf
Series
Each series has its own set of dimensions. The following table will show you these. All measurements are in millimetres.

Height and Depth
For each series, there are six combinations of heights and depths, each with a different number of screw holes. More screws on a longer side will increase the friction and help to distribute the forces.
How to Use the Angle Bracket
Only if you use the printed angle brackets correctly, they will work as designed.
- Always use screws with lens, flat or round heads.
- Do not use countersink screws.
- Always put a metal washer under the screw.
- Use a washer that ideally fills as much of the flat area as possible.
- Put screws in every hole of the bracket, do not leave one open.
- Do not stress the bracket on bending!
