This is a functional replica of the Dell G13 server drive caddy (model F238F) designed for 3.5" LFF hard drives.
Precision Tolerances – The screw heads for drive mounting must not exceed 1.25mm in height (use M3 screws).
Modular Design – Consists of three parts:
- Tray (main body)
- Lever (locking mechanism)
- Pin (pivot for the lever)
Optimized for Strength – Print the pin on its side for better layer adhesion and durability.
Assembly Instructions:
Print all parts separately (supports may be needed for the lever and pin).
Post-processing – Remove supports, deburr edges, and clean holes for smooth operation.
Insert the pin through the lever and tray, ensuring the lever can swivel freely.
Secure the caddy by threading an M3x20 screw into the front locking mechanism.
Compatibility:
Designed to match the original Dell F238F caddy for seamless integration into G13 server chassis.
