This is a custom cover for the Nothing Phone 2 Pro.
Disclaimer: This has not been tested as I do not have the CMF phone or components. Everything is modeled based on data sheets for the components linked below. The design may need small tweaks but it should be fairly accurate and printable as is. Ideally, this project would use a custom PCB with a mounted switch and other components.
Design Notes:
- The main idea was to make a programmable button to be used with a mobile software for specific industries. A physical push to talk button is the primary use case
- There is a pass-thru intended for a small sensor or antenna. (i.e. Air Quality, Gas Detectors, GPS)
- In the main compartment, there is additional space provided for other small electronic components such as:
- LED Indicators
- Switches
- Small Display
- The sensor pass-thru cover is secured with a 6mm x 2mm circular magnet
- The rear cover is secured with (4) M2x4mm flat head screws
- The wristband assembly is secured with a M2.5x10mm screw (subject to change)
Components:
I'd love to continue with developing this cover. A gasketed seal on the back cover would be the next priority and then a better way to fasten the sensor cover.
