This is a spool holder meant to be filled with dessicant.
Meant to be the dryest open spool holder outhere.
To improve it, I'll try to get my hands on a USB heated pad to put underneath and plug it in my 3D printer.
It has insert for 6x2mm magnet, but the tolerance is tight enough to not need it. But it's a plus.
You can fill it with little dessicant pack, or even directly silica gel, the holes are D1.5mm.
If you want to fill it entirely you would need around 360g for the 1kg model and 130g for the 250g model.
Printed in PLA and PETG, 3 walls, 15% infill, works with .28 layer (even the small one).
Print it on the side. Put a brim for better bed adhesion if you don't have an enclosure to prevent warping (better safe than sorry right ?) -
and WASH YOUR BED (someone had to remind you... or me, I had to remind me to do it...)
