The Modular Bench Cookie Ecosystem (MFT)

A modular bench cookie system built in Fusion 360 around the MFT hole standard (20mm). Pucks and accessories share a common magnetic attachment standard, so a bench dog or painters point can move between any compatible base without printing more than you need.

All the models use 6x2 magnets.
If you have magnets with different dimensions let me know and i'll post them, same with dogholes.
I recommend a corkrubber mat as it has the best antiglide (2mm).

The Bench Dog Module can be used on its own, straight in an MFT hole, or attached to the bottom of a cookie as a quick-swap anchor point. Same part, two ways to use it.

What's included

  • Standard Cookie – The base puck. Flat, simple, MFT-compatible. Works on its own or as a mounting point for the Bench Dog underneath.

  • Magnetic Cookie (6x2) – Same footprint as the standard cookie, but with 6 magnet pockets built into the base for quick-swap attachments.

  • Bowl / Can Holder - A deeper, recessed cup for holding your favourite drink, or small parts steady on the bench.

  • 90° Corner Bracket - A right-angle support for clamping or bracing work along an edge or corner.

  • Bench Dog Module - The core attachment piece. Use it on its own, straight in an MFT hole, or magnet-mount it to the bottom of any cookie as a quick-swap anchor point.

  • Painters Point - A conical insert that holds finished or painted pieces without marring the surface. Fits the same magnetic mount as the Bench Dog

  • V-Groove Holder - A V-notched cradle for holding dowels, rods, and other round stock steady on the bench. Self-centering.

  • Spacer - A thin riser that lifts your workpiece for extra clearance. Stacks under any cookie.

All cookies have a slot in the bottom for mouting the benchdog with 6x2 magnets.

How to edit the parameters

1. Open the file in Fusion 360

2. Go to Modify → Change Parameters

3. Look at the Favorites section at the top - these are the only values you need to touch

4. Change a value, hit Enter, and the whole model updates automatically

You do not need to touch anything outside the Favorites list. Everything else updates automatically behind the scenes.

Adjustable parameters (Favorites)

| Parameter | What it controls | Default |

| Cookie_Diameter | Overall outer diameter of the cookie | 80 mm |

| Doghole_Dia | Diameter of the MFT dog hole | 20 mm |

| Cookie_Thickness | Overall thickness of the cookie | 25 mm |

| Magnet_Dia | Diameter of the magnet pockets | 6 mm |

| Magnet_Thickness | Depth of the magnet pockets | 2 mm |

| Spacer_Thickness | Thickness of the spacer module | 5 mm |

| Chamfer | Edge chamfer on the cookie | 1 mm |

Not every value above is fully clamped yet - if you enter something out of range, double-check the geometry before printing rather than assuming it's safe.

Everything else in the parameter list (prefixed DoNotEdit_) is internal - these are calculated automatically from the values above and don't need to be touched.

- Magnets: 6x2mm - press-fit or glue, your call
