Bottle Opener with catch

Catches bottle caps inside the handle. Caps can be released by twisting the bottom lid.
Caps stay inside even if opener gets tilted or turned. can be attached to a lanyard.

Handle and head are shaped ergonomic, so that persons with reduced motoric capability can grab it safely, and use it a little easier. At least that’s the idea

Works for hiking and camping trips too. Since caps get caught directly after opening, accidental littering is prevented effectively. 

Printing:
Print all parts in the given orientation. The handle needs a brim on the inside. No support needed.
Tested 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles with layer hight from 0.2 to 0.32. Works great. Just choose what setting suits you best.

Assembly:
You are going to need one 5ct piece (Euro-€) and two M3x6 Bolts. You can use any similar bolt up to 10mm lenght.  See pictures down below.

1) Print all parts

2) Insert 5ct coin into the head. 

3) In order to fully insert the coin, slowly push the head towards a hard surface with force. As soon as the head is flush with the table, the coin is inserted the correct amount. Pushing it further might render the opening to smal
Note: DONT push it against a wooden table or similar. The coin WILL leave a indendt, since you push it with force. Take concrete, stone or pavement instead.

4) Use two M3x6 bolts for attaching devider to the head. Similar bolts up to 10mm lenght work too.

5) Screw head onto the handle. This is the side with longh thread.
Close the bottom with the lid. This is the side with short thread.
