This is a front splitter for the Tamiya TT02 Audi V8 RC car kit.
This part has been designed to install into the existing lower bumper holes with two M3x20 machine screws, however M3x15 will also work without issue. Printed out of PLA or PETG at 100% infill, this part comes to approximately 20g (the weight of 4 sheets of paper). Part remains with the chassis, and does not interfere with the installation or removal of the body in any way. Additionally, with a 26mm tire installed on a stock TT02 wheel, the splitter is unable to contact the front tires regardless of the steering angle or suspension travel/setting.
In the event of a crash, this splitter will be the first part to contact, however it will take a good amount of speed to break. If a break occurs, use a flathead screwdriver or pocket knife to hold the remaining part when removing the machine screws.
