I have found that the inside of my wetsuit boots struggle to dry without being propped open, which is difficult to do, especially when away. So, I quickly designed this! These are designed to go inside your wetsuit boots to keep them…
Outhaul pulley for windsurfing. Keep them on your sail in each clew position for fast rig and on water changes. Cost is about 50 cents unlike commercial versions costing $30+ There are two designs to accomodate different pulley tube…
This design has been revised but is not yet ready for publication. 17-4-2025 Do not print, Information is purely for knowledge sharing. There is a philosophy behind the sealing with doublesided acrylic tape. Changing the design might void…

A new 3D figurine generated by AI, a Chibi Windsurf. I print my models on a slightly ageing printer. I try to find the best quality/time ratio for my prints. I print these models in fairly small formats, and the quality of the camera…
Windsurfer where you can stick on a cake.
Different way of making a 3D printed windsurf fin that can withstand the extreme forces. This is not meant as a new revolutionary fin but a new way to 3D print windsurf fins quickly and cheaply to try out new ideas. The whole idea is to…
My decades old windsurfing board needed replacement boom cleat for its outhaul line. These are made to be easily printed without supports. Source files are also included. Please share your prints!
Rear facing shots at water level whilst windsurfing give awesome shots both of the high speed wake and your mates chasing you. This simple mount connects to the rear tuttle bolt. A piece of 3mm x 10mm Aluminium bar is the reinforcement…
61cm centerboard for windsurf board. The size should be compatible with HiFly 335 FX, and F2 ROOKIE 335 and similar boards (e.g. Kona school, Windsurfer school, wind SUP boards). If needed you can 3d print or cut the model with a CNC and…
Since a pile of people seem to be making these I thought I'd update the design based on lessons learnt. This is to house Jan Heynen's design DIY GPS (links at bottom) Note, this is NOT waterproof, it relies on filling the case with…
I wanted to try some thrusters out on my free ride board but didn't want to spend the $40 to buy a set so printed my own for way less. Cut the main shape out of 1.5mm stainless, ground the trailing and leading edge and contact cemented it…
Couldn't justify paying $100+ for one of these things so quickly made my own. Made for 10mm pipe. I used 10mm plastic coated steel tube which I had lying around which had OD of 10.2mm and 1.5mm wall thickness. I printed at 100% infill for…
I needed a very low profile rack system for my gear as wind variation here extreme so need to pack lots in. Also needed to be able to quickly adjust the racks to suit various gear and also remove the whole rack system quickly in order to…
This is a custom miniature windsurfboard.
Print was very finicky for me. Print one part at a time and use brims. I did not use supports. For the board, I used the slice feature in PrusaSlicer so that it has a flat base.
As the title states, its a fully printable windsurfing board, at least i hope it is. Based on the video from DZfoils, I made a few design changes in regards to the structure of the board. At first the plan was to go 100% printed, but i…
This is V2 of experimental fin. Video here (V1 was essentially the same design but had the tuttle bolts welded to the steel plate but the welds failed on first test, unfortunately no video) Annular fins in theory should offer more lift…
Gyroid 20% Infill Tree Support
This is a modification to my original print that can be found here https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/104363-windsurfing-speedo-doppler-gps-low-profile-counter This print adds a trim layer that makes the unit more professional looking…
Uploading V4 of the experimental annular fin to show design evolution. This concept introduces the transfer plate to transfer the load from the tuttle bolts to the fin. This is hidden inside the tuttle connector. Again fin failed quickly…
Hello, this is not an optimized propeller, I designed it purely by feel, but it works.
I modeled it with two screw holes, the lower needing a low profile 90° driver to access (mini ratchet). I'm currently testing it with just the upper screws in place as the mast is not very heavy. After living with this for a little while,…
Replacement for Surfbent
Most think it's not possible to 3D print a windsurf fin due to the extreme loads. However, 3D prints are almost indestructible if held in compression so uploading a few windsurf fin designs that show how to print a fin that can withstand…
Annular fins in theory should generate more lift in light wind conditions for less draft than a conventional fin (think of it as a low draft formula fin). Higher aspect ratio fin like this should in theory have less drag. Uploading this…
After playing around with the basic downhaul winch design it was apparent it could be improved. The main improvement is the basic design could fail under high loads due to the torque applied tending to separate layers of print so added 4…
Dissenyat a partir de la peça original trencada (en negre) mitjançant Fusion360 i calibre. Imprès inicialment en ABS per a fer la prova i després en ASA per millorar l'ús a la intempèrie. Imprès sense suport i amb una laçada de capa de…
The crusty looking images are the original part being replaced. I redesigned the original piece to make it easier to print and eliminate some odd design flaws that lead to the part failing in the first place. It should fit both round and…
Air valve for windsurfing PETG When printing, place the screw horizontally with support. This is a slot for an air valve for windsurfing. I had one board that didn't have this valve. Put a rubber washer under the screw and don't tighten…
Uploading design just to show evolution of the annular fin concept. Whilst I filmed the test with the fin cam I haven't got around to uploading the video of the test. Suffice to say, it worked like V2 but it did not last long. Need to add…
With Windsurfing records now exceeding 100Km/hr there is a real need for an accurate feedback for sailors. All previous systems have relied on a watch screen (impossible too see at high speed) or some sort of audible feedback. Most are…
Useful couplings to construct a variety of light weight frames using 1" (25.4mm) square Aluminium extrusion. You can buy these at a hardware store, except when you can't. There are also shapes you can't buy. These parts are hammer fit and…
Trying to get underwater footage of windsurf fins to understand them better and get different action shots. This one is non destructive for the board for GoPro 9,10,11 and relies on a small piece of clear poly carb matched exactly to the…
A surfboard that you can use to surf out of a car window, just tie a string to the back
This fin cam relies on cutting a hole in your board…here where I live people seem to throw out perfectly good boards so scored a few donor boards to try this out. Scored a near perfect 2006 iSonic 111 just a few meters from my house…how…
A small Print to Help make pumping up a inflatable Windsurfer, if yours didn't come with a pump this will be most useful! Please let me know if this doesn't fit your exact one and if I have time/or am available I will model another…
I picked up a free windsurfing board and it was missing a fin so I made one up for it. It fits a US-Slot style board. Dimensions of the slot part are 8x145x35mm with a 4mm hole and 5mm pin. Total height of the fin (including slot) is…
