I wanted to train myself using the Zigbee protocol on a simple project such as this one. This uses the supermini ESP32-C6 and an AHT10 sensor. The code to run it is mostly from the example library from Arduino-Zigbee, tuned to fit my needs:
- Wake up every 2 hours
- Connect to Zigbee gateway
- If can connect, fetch temperature + humidity and send it
- Go to sleep in any case

- 3.7V Lithium Battery (max 10x34x50mm) - Link

- 5x M3x3 screws
- 5x M3x3x4 brass inserts
At the back of the SuperMini are 2 pads for wiring the battery, directly. There is a builtin charger chip on the board itself. Connect it to B+ and B-.
