General:
A simple mount for a 500 BTU vortex chiller and an 80mm spindle
Why I designed this:
I designed this to mount an air chiller to my 80mm spindle for CNC milling without coolant.
Printing notes:
Split the model in your slicer before printing. That will allow you to mount it around the magnetic base of the chiller.
Layer height: .2
Recommended Material: PLA
Supports: None
Infill: 15% Gyroid or triangle
Walls: 3
Other Modifiers: Print as oriented
I printed from PETG on FLsun T1 Pro at .2 layer height with 15% gyroid infill.
Other Notes:
Attaches with 2 zip ties around the magnetic base.
The chiller I use can be found here, but it should work with most.
