GIRO - Dual Y-Axis Bracket
General
This design was inspired by colindo. In my opinion the original design did the job but it wasn't really stiff so I decided to remix it and make my own design. It's stiffer and also has an automatic locking for the aluminium profiles to keep them at a desired place. Be sure to print this with a well calibrated printer because the little nose at the end of the bracket holds the aluminium profile in place. It might me very tight if you haven't got a well calibrated printer. In my case my printer differed from the 20mm gap by 0.06mm. In that case the nose really created some tension to the aluminium bracket.
Printing
Print this bracket with a lower speed, for example 35 mm/s, to get a more accurate printing. I suggest to print it with a minimum infill percentage of 50% but I always print those kind brackets with an infill of 100% because I want the maximum durability. You don't need support structures to print this bracket.
