✨ Shoji Lamps Are Finished! ✨
I’ve been working on these for a while, and I’m stoked to finally share them. I designed and 3D-printed these shoji-inspired lamps from scratch — every frame, every joint, every detail. The goal was to blend traditional Japanese design with a modern RGB glow and improve my modelling skills ever so slightly, honestly… they turned out even better than I expected.
Each lamp uses a frosted diffuser and a simple modular frame, so the light spreads super smoothly. The color shifting looks great in low light.
They’re powered by simple USB LEDs, so I can drop them anywhere on my desk setup and instantly change the whole mood of the room.
Let me know what you think!
These lamps use USB Lights that I have assembled myself, they are very likely compatible with small LED wireless puck lights.
The lights I am using are 31mm 3W round cob lights and a 5V USB wire with button. Purchased from AliExpress
Included also is a 3d printed holder and diffuser for them. Easy soldering job. But as i said, tea lights or puck lights would work fine as an alternative
