Project Title: Apex-Link | ESP32 Universal RC Controller
Description
The Apex-Link is a high-performance, DIY remote controller designed for low-latency robotics and RC vehicle control. Built around the powerful ESP32, this transmitter offers dual-stick precision, a rotary encoder for menu navigation, and a 16x2 LCD for real-time telemetry and battery monitoring.
Powered by a 2S Li-ion battery with an integrated step-down converter, it provides hours of stable operation. Whether you are controlling a quad-spider, a hexapod, or a racing rover, this controller is the perfect bridge between the pilot and the machine.

Labels & Controls Mapping
If you are designing the faceplate or writing the UI, here is a standard mapping:
Left Stick: Throttle / Yaw (Movement)
Right Stick: Pitch / Roll (Direction)
Rotary Encoder: Sensitivity Adjust / Menu Scroll
LCD Header: Telemetry (Signal Strength, Battery %, Mode)
Main Switch: System Power (ON/OFF)

Print & Build Tips
The Shell: Print with 3-4 perimeters to ensure the screw holes for the joysticks don't strip.
Supports: The main body may require "Tree Supports" for the joystick cutouts.
Wiring: I recommend using a small piece of protoboard to centralize the Ground and VCC rails for the joysticks and LCD.
Code: This hardware setup works perfectly with the ESP-NOW protocol for ultra-low latency control without needing a WiFi router.
