I made this handle because our fridge was hard to open when it was opened recently. Then the suction force was so great that when trying to open the fridge the whole fridge moved instead of the door opening. This was becoming a thing that got on our nerves, so i designed this handle.

For the handle i used a 5mm rod that i cut from a big long screw. To connect the pushrod to the upper part of the handle i used a thin nail. You can cut the nail shorter and then bend it a little in orde for it not to fall out over time.

You can sand the parts for everything to move smoothly, but this will also happen by itself just by using the handle.

The screws that screw into the fridge door are 134mm apart. This is for my Zanussi space + fridge, but it may fit on other fridges.
