I designed this adaptor to link a binder clip to a flashlight, allowing me to clamp said flashlight to a baseball cap.  It is symmetrical, so either side works, and it can obviously clamp to other things. This was designed to fit a 2” binder clip and a 1” diameter flashlight.

Bill of Materials:

One 1” flashlight and one 2” binder clip, 12g of filament

Printing:

  • Walls, Top/Bottom Layers: 4, 4/4

  • Infill – doesn’t matter

  • Walls: 0.4-0.5mm

  • Supports: None

  • Orientation: Place one of the two flat faces down

  • Material: 12g, Any material but TPU should work

Assembly:

Take off one of the wire handles from the binder clip. Slide this side of the binder clip into the adaptor, and press the flashlight into the C-socket until it clicks. It is an intentionally tight fit. I found it good to keep the other wire handle on to facilitate removal/adjustment.
