Overview:
I designed this general use hook to thread onto any standard pole that uses ACME ¾ x 5 tpi threads such as painter’s poles. I regularly find the need to hang or reach something up high.
I’ve included my Fusion 360 file and step file if you want to customize it in any way. I used my ACME ¾ x 5 tpi thread adapters and definition to help model this. The files and info can be found here:
Printing:
I printed ours in PLA which has worked fine. PETG or ASA would be a little better. I typically use 4-7 walls for these attachments, but 3 would be sufficient for light duty tasks. No supports required if printed in the orientation shown.
