About the Design
The lantern features a unique double-woven shell design with two nested layers and an air gap between them. When lit up, the overlapping woven patterns create a beautiful, dappled light effect that scatters soft patterns across your room, walls, and ceiling rather than harsh, direct lines.
Key Details & Printing Info
• Dimensions: 200 mm tall, 97 mm diameter at the widest part.
• Easy Print: Designed to print standing upright on its foot—no supports, no glue, and no extra hardware required!
Note about the photos: The lit lantern shown in the photo was printed in resin to showcase an ultra-fine weave. The included print files are optimised for standard FDM (3D printers with a regular 0.4mm nozzle), giving it a slightly chunkier, durable texture that prints reliably without clogging!
What You'll Need
A corded lamp base with an E27 socket. The optional base shroud was designed around this standard lamp base on Amazon UK, but most similar small bases will work great.
A slim LED bulb. I recommend slim filament-style LED bulbs like these TEKLED bulbs. Always use LED bulbs to keep heat low.
Bulb Compatibility Guide
Because the lantern lowers directly over the light bulb onto the base, the bulb must fit through the opening at the bottom. The base opening (foot gate) is Ø53.9 mm.

Filament Recommendations
I recommend printing in ASA or PETG for better temperature resistance and longevity, though PLA can work as long as a cool LED bulb is used.
Optional Base Shroud
Included with the print files is revenant_lantern_base_shroud. This optional accessory fits over the lamp base to create a clean, flat seating ring for the lantern to sit on (and includes a cutout slot for the power cord).
Important Note: This shroud was custom-modeled for this specific Amazon lamp base. If you are using a different brand or style of base, double-check your base measurements or tweak the model so that it provides a flat mounting ring with Ø62 mm outer / Ø54 mm inner dimensions.
