Keep your hive tool handy while working your hives. This belt clip securely holds a steel hive tool using embedded internal magnets, giving you a quick, hands-free storage spot on your belt or pocket during inspections.
Hardware Required
N52 Magnets: 4x Neodymium Magnets (Amazon)
Print Settings & Pause Instructions
Layer Height: 0.15 mm
Infill: 100% Infill
Filament: PETG or PLA (PETG recommended for flexibility in the clip and heat resistance outdoors)
Embedded Magnets (Pause Print):
Add a print pause at approximately Z = 27.18 mm (approx. 1.07 in height).
Insert the 4 magnets into the internal cavities before resuming the print to seal them permanently inside.
Tip: Ensure the magnet polarities are oriented correctly before resuming, and double-check that they sit completely flush in their slots so the nozzle doesn't hit them.
