This support helps guide and hold the toolhead umbilical in a controlled overhead loop, keeping cables, bowden tube, etc... clear of the build area as the toolhead moves. It’s shown installed on my large-format 600 × 600 mm CoreXY printer, with the umbilical routed up from the toolhead and supported above the frame.

The design is made to be used with plastic 1/4" tubing.  Print as many pairs of the supports as needed to support cabling adequately over the length you're running. The STLs contain the mount and two connector pieces.  There is a Bowden tube attachment as well.  Each end of the umbilical can be mounted with the adapter with an M3 bolt.  I'm attaching to 2020 extrusion with a spring loaded T-nut.

To ensure a snug fit for the tubing, I'd recommend calibrating hole tolerance for your printer.  I've also found a bit of CA glue helps keep the tubing from slipping from the mount.

I designed this to be easy to extend and maintain the wiring within the cable bundle.
