Hovermill 12 blade hoverboard motor windmill

Adapter to make a hoverboard motor into a usable 12 blade Hovermill windmill with a diameter of 82cm. 12 blades for increased surface area. Folding blade design remixed from another fantastic smaller windmill design for easier storage, deployment and transport. When assembling, print one the blade pivots labelled "first blade pivot" and install it first as you go around the hub, this will allow you to install the last pivot bolt through the recess hole in that first pivot, or just print all 12 with the recess hole and risk them being slightly weaker...

Will be designing a mount for the motor shaft with a pivot and a spot for the bridge rectifier in time, but for now feel free to adapt this design to your own needs. Hoping to have off grid device charging capabilities at the very least for setting up portable power off grid when wilderness camping. If it spins as good as my much larger hovermill it may even have enough power to charge lead acid vehicle/rv batteries which would supplement inverter usage when the wind is strong enough.  Will post more photos once the 12 blades finally print. I printed them slow and at 0.14 layer height. See the printer orientation photo for best positioning results. Use supports, sand any imperfections afterwards. i had to shave the motor hub slightly (2mm off the total diameter) to fit the magnet cage inside the main splined hub. could be adapted to the smooth aluminum motors but i don't have one to work with.
