Made to work with Ender 3 Cable Chain Redux.
I wanted to be able to protect my y axis cable while still having it come straight out the back of the printer. Because the aluminum extrusion is not bare underneath I was have having trouble getting the chain lined up properly with any of the existing mounts I could find.
This one pops on to the end of the aluminum extrusion with the start of the chain in line where the cable naturally comes out under the printer. For me the fit in to the extrusion was snug at the current size so I used no mounting screws but I have included a model with holes for screws if needed.
The lid could likely be printed without the supports in a more upright orientation. The cap/mount has a large overhang and corners that would need support but you can probably use a support blocker in the middle area as the space you have to bridge is quite small and this area is hidden in the final product.
