Mounts an NSK Emax Evolution precision rotary tool handpiece into a ¾" lathe tool holder. This is a very minimal model, recommend customizing as you see fit. Notably:
- Tool changing is still possible with the IR-310 attachment but could do with improved finger clearances/cutouts.
- The design is modeled to use three M5 socket head cap screws. The holes need to be tapped out to M5x0.8. If threads in plastic bothers you, modify to use pressed in inserts or nuts instead.
- Tool holder set screws will bear directly on low-infill plastic. Adding a metal shim above the print to spread the load and avoid screws digging in is probably a good idea. Or adding dowel pins pressed into the print directly.
Printed my proof of concept in PLA with stock slicer settings. Recommend using additional walls and/or infill for improved stiffness, and PETG or ABS is probably more durable in the long run.
