I used to have a Chimera 7 frame, but I lost it some time ago when I was flying long-range. I bought a Chimera 7 Pro V2 and then realized that its panels are designed specifically for small iFlight7 FC boards and will not fit Walksnail Avatar VTX… The original panels are nice, and I wanted to create something good-looking but simple to print simultaneously.
Goals for my panels:
- Fit into the original frame w/o modifying anything
- Works well with original TPU parts
- Fit a bigger flight controller board(I use SpeedyBee F405 V4 which is pretty big)
- Fit the Walksnail Moonlight VTX. At the moment I have only Avatar Pro V2 VTX but the Moonlight one will work as well
Print instructions:
- Print with top of the panels on the printing table
- I use 0.12 layer height, but 0.2 works well
- I use PA12-CF15, but printed multiple test versions with PLA and ASA.
- I do NOT enable supports, but print is acceptable with supports as well.
