These hexagon-inspired corner brackets hold a thin whiteboard against the wall using thumbtacks. I designed them for my own boards, including a whiteboard used as a sticker display.
Use one bracket at each corner. Each bracket has three mounting holes, requiring 12 push pins for a complete set.
Board compatibility
The brackets accommodate board edges under 4.5 mm thick. Measure the edge that will sit inside the bracket, including any frame. designed aroun 3/16 in. 2 ft. x 4 ft. Black Chalk / White Marker MDF Board from home depot
Because the brackets mount separately, their spacing can be adjusted to suit different board widths and heights. Board weight and wall attachment determine whether a particular installation is suitable.
Mounting
Each bracket has three mounting holes approximately 6.457 mm in diameter and 3.5 mm deep, matching the mounting holes in my hexagonal shelves and organizers.
I use Mr. Pen silver flat-head steel thumbtacks from the 500-pack, pressed into drywall. Other push pins need heads larger than the mounting holes and pins that grip the wall securely.
Position the brackets around all four corners, with their retaining lips overlapping the front of the board. Secure each bracket with three push pins.
The photos show my brackets installed on drywall. This mounting method leaves small pin holes and matches my other hexagonal wall organizers.
