Silent Spool Holder For Ikea Lack

Started this in an attempt to make my printing quieter. Turned into a bigger project than I anticipated. As not all spools are the same dimensions I made this to accommodate most.

Materials needed Base V1 with any holder. 

(2) 608-2RS Bearings.

(2) 1" Cotter pins.

(1) 5.5" X 8mm Rod ( Or smaller diameter )

Base V2 Doesn't need Cotter pins, uses (4) Bearings, and needs supports.

As far as the differences in styles of Spool holders 

V1/V2 Don't tighten centric in cardboard spools. May need to scale part 2 to 101%-103% depending on printer.

V3/V4 Have a better taper to accommodate more filament brand spools. V3/V4 I scaled even in sets, but if you find its tighter then you like scale Part 2 by +1% until you reach desired tightness. Part 2 uses very little filament.

Print Settings for Base V1. (Ender 3 Pro PLA+). Use what works best for your printer Orient bottom to bed. (Should be pre-oriented Not Sure) My settings for V1 cut time down to under 6 hours.

.3 Layer Height.

.2 Initial Layer Height.

3 Top/Bottom Layers.

2 Top Surface Layers.

15% Infill Cubic.

60 mm/s print speed.

35 mm/s Infill Speed.

35 mm/s outer wall speed.

45 mm/s inner wall speed

160 mm/s travel speed

For Spool Holders All Part 1s

.15 - .2 Layer Height

.15 - .2 Initial Layer Height depending on Layer Height.

25% - 99% Infill ( Use Concentric for 99% ) Otherwise use gyroid, or cubic.

50 - 60 mm/s print speed.

35 mm/s infill speed.

35 mm/s outer wall speed.

45 mm/s inner wall speed.

160 mm/s travel speed.
