This adapter screws onto a microphone stand and holds a Logitech C920, C922, or C930 webcam by snapping the stand portion of the webcam into this adapter. The webcam can then be angled up or down with a much larger range than if it were set on top of a monitor, or it can be placed on a table next to a laptop so it can be pointed in a different direction than the laptop or screen is facing. We used this quite a bit for playing board games over the internet, but it has many other possibilities.
Variations have been included to accept 1/4-20, 3/8-16, and 5/8-11 UNC threads, which are common on mic stands and tripods.
Each variation also includes custom supports for the outer tabs that hold the webcam. The Fusion 360 and STEP files can be used to modify or remove the support, if desired.
