I love the design by alobal (blue parts in pictures for comparison) but I think I overtightened the assembly as the 3d printed threads eventually stripped. So, I created a similar design (Stainless Steel parts in pictures) for heat pressed inserts. The threaded insert is pressed into the ball and the bolt is pressed into the nut. I recommend using M243 thread locker (or the likes) to ensure it stays place. I've run it through the car wash many times now without any issues.
