I wanted a way to choose the color of Neutrik Powercon Connectors and use them more like extension cords.
So I reverse-engineered the geometry and adapted it to 3D-Printing.
There are 6 different models.
Powercon_Nut works for all housings.
Powercon_StrainRelief works for the housings for NAC3MPx
Powercon_NAC3MPx_Round houses NAC3MPx that has been modified by removing the flange (works best with a lathe, but can also be done by cutting and sanding [see: https://www.printables.com/model/70907-in-line-neutrik-powercon-socket/comments])
Powercon_NAC3MPx_Square houses unmodified NAC3MPx, a bit more bulky (requires 2 M3x12-20 DIN7984 screws when the front cover is used, 2 M3x12-20 DIN 7991 when used without cover)
Powercon_NAC3MPx_Square_Cover covers the front of Powercon_NAC3MPx_Square
Powercon_NAC3FCx houses the inner part and the original strain relief of NAC3FCx (taking the metal latch of the original parts and onto the replacement requires some force)
Powercon_NAC3FCx needs supports on the small face where the latch goes.
Most models benefit from printing with brim.
I used PLA for prototyping, PETG or ABS might be better for demanding applications.
Use Neutrik NL Faston or similar to connect cables to the NAC3MPx
A small grub screw is recommended to hold in the de-flanged NAC3MPx (M4x4)
I used those NAC3FCx and these NAC3MPx
