I converted a 25mm thick closet bifold door to french doors by duplicating the bifold hardware on both sides (I didn't want to mount hinges).
This is a functional duplicate of the original top bracket that holds the top pin of the bifold door in place. I didn't want to buy an entire 1 sided bi-fold door hardware set when all I needed was the top and bottom brackets. The compatible original top bracket that I made this work with (shown in the picture side by side) is from the Everbilt Bi-Fold Door Hardware Set.
