Extruder visualizer sportcar brake style.
To work it needs 4 magnets (8x3mm) to mount the black rear part on the motor of our printer, some glue to attach the magnets to the piece and to attach the caliper in its seat. I choose to fix the disc with a grain (M3 l = 15mm) to use a single magnet that comes into contact with the motor and adjust the right distance from the brake caliper. This also gives our extruder visualizer a realistic style like a real drive shaft connecting to the brake disc.
What I used?
- 5pz 8x3mm Magnets
- 1pz M3 15mm Grain
- 1pz Washer
- 3pz M3 Nuts
Tips
Only bed support for brake disk and caliper.
You can use 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height and ironing.
If it doesn't work, you need to check the distanze of the disk from the caliper.
